Delaunay Triangulation with MEL Scripting in Maya.

I just wanted to post a quick teaser to some work I have been doing utilizing Delaunay Triangulation to generate a structural mesh for a large-scale installation proposal for Lita Albuquerque. The project will likely take on a new site though. However, this was an interesting and challenging project accomplished in MEL scripting, Python, Qhull and Maya. As soon as I get an opportunity to post the code in an organized way — the process has multiple steps and is not as purely programmatic as I would like — I will post a full description and tutorial.

In brief, the particle system is 100 feet long and 56 feel high. I designed the particle system by using multiple vortex forces, gravity and air to twist and spread the particles up in to the air.
